"I am thankful that we chose Hewitt. The education I have received has been excellent. I have learned so much, not only through textbooks, but also through interaction with the Hewitt staff. The staff has always been willing to adapt to our needs. The evaluators are superior. My evaluator has been an indispensable resource to my growth as a writer.
"Colleges have been equally impressed with the education I received through Hewitt. I applied to five prestigious schools and was accepted into all of them. In addition, I have received scholarship offers from these schools amounting to more than $200,000 over four years. Clearly, these colleges and universities saw the education I received through Hewitt as desirable." -- Kevin Darby, Class of 2006 (Read Kevin's whole recommendation.)
High School (Grades 9-12)
This is our most popular service package. Some parents need assistance with
classes at the high school level. Others find their students perform better
when they are accountable to someone outside the home, or that they take criticism
and correction better from other teachers. Many people want grades and transcripts
from an external source for colleges.
Enrollment includes four evaluations a year, two hours of counseling time on our toll-free number, a transcript, and a diploma (once all requirements have been fulfilled). Evaluations include letter grades and narrative feedback, so you'll get specific comments on your student's strengths and weaknesses. Evaluations average 2 to 4 pages in length, depending on the number and type of classes.
If you choose to enroll, you can download our student and parent questionnaires, print and complete them, then mail them to us when you register. (Complete one parent questionnaire per family and one student questionnaire per student.)
Junior High (Grades 7-8)
This package includes two evaluations a year, teacher counseling, PASS tests, and a Certificate of Completion with letter grades. Our Junior High program does a terrific job of preparing your student for the high school years.
If you choose to enroll, you can download our junior high student and parent questionnaires, print and complete them, then mail them to us when you register. (Complete one parent questionnaire per family and one student questionnaire per student.)
Elementary (PreK-6)
We find that during the elementary years most parents do not need the external
accountability or support that a teacher provides. If you use our unit studies
for Grades PreK-2, you will find day-to-day lesson plans which meet all the
grade-level requirements. For Grades 3-8, our PASS tests will show if your
student is making sufficient progress, and our Learning Objectives will tell
you what should be covered in each core subject for Grades K-8.
